Deakin students now have the opportunity to undertake units towards their degree at 3 prestigious partner universities in China. The programs will involve lectures, case studies and visits to local businesses. Giving students the opportunity to understand the culture and business environment in China.

Students with a WAM below 50 won't be accepted.
Students who want accreditation through CPA/CA need to check with CPA/CA to ensure the units will be accredited.

About Shanghai Jiao Tong University
SJTU Program is operated by Overseas Education CollegeShanghai Jiao Tong University. The SJTU Program intends to provide international high-standard, all classes are taught in English. Based on the Australian education standard, classes are conducted by a combination of teaching methods including in-class lectures, research and case discussion. Besides the academic part of the program, SJTU will also arrange various activities, providing students with opportunities to have cultural exchange and real experience of China’s rapid economic development.

The program costs include tuition, field trips and an extended research project. Accommodation, flights and personal expenses are not included. This is a Study Abroad program meaning no tuition is paid to Deakin University.

OS- HELP loan
Overseas Student HELP loans (OS-HELP) are provided by the Commonwealth government to eligible HECS-HELP students undertaking various international experiences for credit. This loan is added to your HELP debt and can be up to $8.149. The following link will provide more information on the OS-Help.

Youth Allowance and Austudy
If you are currently receiving Youth Allowance or Austudy you can continue to receive payments while studying overseas as long you have a full time study load for the year. The following link will provide more information on the Youth Allowance or Austudy.




Academic information:
There are a number of units available. Please note Deakin students are only able to undertake one or two units listed below as they have been approved by our academics.If you are selecting two units, you must ensure that they are from different times of the day. Please note, you cannot change your course once enrolment has been processed.

About Fudan University
