Location Profile

Destination: Deakin Geelong WaterfrontCunningham Pier

Our Geelong Waterfront Campus is right on the seafront - in the heart of Geelong, about an hour away from Melbourne. Originally built as wool stores in 19th century, the buildings have been extensively renovated, creating a modern, impressive campus.

The stunning Waterfront is lined with restaurants and cafes with an amazing view of Corio Bay. Take a walk to the Geelong Botanic Gardens or cool off in the summer at the enclosed sea baths.

Geelong is the second-most populated urban area in the state of Victoria (behind Melbourne), with a population of about 180,000 people. One of the world's most beautiful coastal drives, the Great Ocean Road, is just half an hour away complete with famous surf beaches and the occasional whale sighting.
