FBL Malayisa - Kuala LumpurAbout the program
Undergraduate Business and Law students are invited to gain practical work experience in Malaysia as a unit towards their degree. Students will travel to Kuala Lumpur and will have the opportunity to complete a WIL unit over a 2 week period with a marketing, management and strategic consulting focus. Students will travel as a group of 15 and will work in teams of four. Students will be allocated to a local business and will work with the company to apply their management knowledge and theories from their degree in a unique international context. You will be supported by on-ground staff in Malaysia and Deakin academics who will manage the program and also facilitate site visits, networking opportunities, social activities and free time.

Each project has been designed by Deakin Academic staff to provide sound academic content together with deep engagement between Deakin students, their industry professional and community leaders. Deakin students will work closely with their hosts in all of their nominated projects. All components have been structured so that the students gain an increased understanding of their host country’s environmental and business cultures.
